Class Information

About The Class
Our little kid classes allow students to experiment with paints, watercolors, pastels, clay, sculpture, and collage. Through playful projects, children practice fine motor skills and representational image-making.
About The Class
In our kids classes, each grade follows an age-appropriate curriculum of painting, drawing, and sculpture to build a solid set of foundational skills. Our curriculum covers a wide range of materials, subject matters, and styles to provide a well-rounded experience!
About The Class
Our technique classes focus on foundational drawing and painting skills, while staying fun and engaging for kids. Each class starts off with a lesson on topics like perspective, color theory, and shading. Then students apply those techniques to projects of their choice.
About The Class
Our teen classes help older students refine their skills and develop their own artistic style. Students can choose their own projects and our teachers give one-on-one instruction to meet their personal needs. We're also able to assist with portfolio preparation!

Our standard class fees are $55 per 45 minute session, $60 per 1 hour session, $75 per 90 minute session, and $85 per two hour session. Full semester registrations automatically receive a discount of $5 per session!

Our classes run by the semester and we encourage registering this way, especially for curriculum classes. However we do accept trial classes and shorter enrollment periods for all classes, and a drop-in option for teen classes. Email us with your inquiry!

Students can attend up to four make up classes per semester for absences of any reason. Please keep in mind that makeups need to be scheduled with us to ensure availability, and must be completed by the end of the semester. We cannot prorate for planned absences, or credit unused make-ups towards future semesters.

Yes! We have all the supplies that students will need, so you don’t need to bring anything to class. We also provide smocks, but we still recommend having your child wear something to class that you don’t mind getting messy.

We keep our classes small and well-staffed so that we can instruct students on an individual basis. Even in our curriculum-based classes, we will always tailor projects to suit the ability and preference of the child creating it.

The kids class follows a curriculum and the gallery class does not. The kids class is more structured, and the curriculum is designed to expose students to a variety of materials, subject matter, and skill sets. The gallery class is more student-led, and while we still provide instruction, the students are given the freedom to choose their own projects.
