Weekly Summer Art Classes
Teens, Tuesdays 3:30-4:30pm: Our teen art classes help students 11-18 refine their skills and develop their own artistic style. Students can choose their own projects and our teachers give one-on-one instruction to meet their personal needs. We're also able to assist with portfolio preparation! $550 for all 10 classes or $62 per drop-in class.
Preschoolers, Wednesdays 3:30-4:15pm: Our preschool art classes allow students 3-5 to experiment with paints, watercolors, pastels, clay, sculpture, and collage. Classes run every week from June 16th through August 19th.

Summer Studio FAQs
Our summer camps run by the week. However, we do welcome drop-ins when space permits. Please email us with your request!
At 9am our morning and full day students arrive and start the day with sketchbook time. Between 9:30am-11:30am students make between one and three projects in their small group, and then from 11:30am-12pm they enjoy recess in our private backyard. At noon our morning students dismiss, full day students eat lunch, and afternoon students arrive for sketchbook time. Between 12:30-2:30pm students make between one and three projects in their small groups, and then recess is from 2:30-3pm. Afternoon and full day students dismiss at 3pm.
We offer a wide variety of materials to our students, including plaster sculptures, acrylic and watercolor paints, colored and graphite pencils, illustration markers, charcoals, pastels, modeling clay, printmaking, and some craft materials. Some of our projects are structured, where students are instructed to work with a specific material or subject, and others projects are free, where students can choose what to create. However, we always allow encourage students to incorporate their own interests and creativity into each project so that no two are the same!
Absolutely! Our teachers are very familiar with the various requirements and the summer is a great time for students to focus on art, receive one-on-one instruction, and get a jumpstart on the work before the school year begins.
We have plenty of students that register for multiple weeks of art camp! All of our projects, even structured projects, allow for individuality and student choice. So we will repeat general themes, like landscape paintings or animal drawings, but students will create something new each and every time!
We will supply all art materials, but you will need to pack any food and water for the day. We recommend that all students pack a nut-free snack each day, and full day students need to pack a nut-free lunch. We also recommend dressing your child in clothes that you don’t mind getting messy.
Email us if you'd like to reschedule or cancel your enrollment! Rescheduling is dependent on availability and can only be done for full weeks. Cancellations made at least two weeks in advance receive a 95% refund and cancellations made at least one week in advance receive a 75% refund.
